Lic. Francisco Ram\u00edrez Y\u00e1\u00f1ez, rector del Sistema UNIVA, para mostrarle su nuevo documental V\u00e1monos pa\u2019l norte.<\/p>\n<p>V\u00e1monos pa\u2019l norte retrata la vida de los migrantes que al cruzar la frontera con nuestro pa\u00eds vecino, Estados Unidos de Am\u00e9rica, sufren adversidades en su camino en la b\u00fasqueda por un futuro mejor.<\/p>\n<p>Edgar cuenta con m\u00e1s de 20 a\u00f1os como reportero de radio y corresponsal de televisi\u00f3n, as\u00ed como presentador de noticias en M\u00e9xico y Estados Unidos. Ha cubierto todo tipo de tragedias, desde las explosiones del Sector Reforma en Guadalajara el 22 de abril de 1992 con Radio Grupo DK, hasta huracanes, desgajamientos de cerros, levantamientos armados, elecciones pol\u00edticas, recorridos en el tren \u201cLa Bestia\u201d y asesinatos m\u00faltiples, como el ataque al Casino Royal en Monterrey, donde recibi\u00f3 junto con otros compa\u00f1eros de Univision un premio nacional de periodismo en M\u00e9xico en el 2011.<\/p>\n<p>Recientemente fue galardonado con un premio Emmy en la categor\u00eda de investigaci\u00f3n sobresaliente en espa\u00f1ol por su reportaje Los Nadie(n), un reportaje de dos partes producido por Noticias Telemundo Investiga.
