{"id":3935,"date":"2021-08-02T16:58:46","date_gmt":"2021-08-02T21:58:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.univa.mx\/colima\/univa-es-seleccionada-por-100000-strong-in-the-americas-100k-innovation-fund-at-partners-of-the-americas-para-favorecer-la-movilidad-estudiantil\/"},"modified":"2021-08-02T16:59:05","modified_gmt":"2021-08-02T21:59:05","slug":"univa-es-seleccionada-por-100000-strong-in-the-americas-100k-innovation-fund-at-partners-of-the-americas-para-favorecer-la-movilidad-estudiantil","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.univa.mx\/colima\/univa-es-seleccionada-por-100000-strong-in-the-americas-100k-innovation-fund-at-partners-of-the-americas-para-favorecer-la-movilidad-estudiantil\/","title":{"rendered":"UNIVA es seleccionada por 100,000 Strong in the Americas (100K) Innovation Fund at Partners of the Americas para favorecer la movilidad estudiantil"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El pasado 29 de julio, como respuesta al trabajo realizado desde el pasado mes de febrero 2021 entre el equipo de la Jefatura de Internacionalizaci\u00f3n del Sistema UNIVA y profesores investigadores de la Jefatura de Investigaci\u00f3n del campus Guadalajara, el Fondo de Innovaci\u00f3n <em>100,000 Strong in the Americas (100K) Innovation Fund at Partners of the Americas<\/em> y el <em>Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs<\/em> <em>de los Estados Unidos,<\/em> inform\u00f3 sobre la selecci\u00f3n de la propuesta de investigaci\u00f3n y colaboraci\u00f3n acad\u00e9mica sometida por UNIVA y el St. Francis College (SFC), en la Ciudad de Nueva York, EE. UU., como parte de la convocatoria \u201c2020 Mexico-U.S. Innovation Fund Competition\u201d. Al ser seleccionada, dicha propuesta contar\u00e1 con el apoyo econ\u00f3mico proporcionado por Fundaci\u00f3n Mary Street Jenkins, Fundaci\u00f3n Coca-Cola M\u00e9xico, Sempra Energy, y la Embajada de los EE. UU. En la Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, para que un grupo de estudiantes y profesores de UNIVA realice una estancia acad\u00e9mica de una semana en St. Francis College en el primer semestre del a\u00f1o 2022. As\u00ed mismo, UNIVA recibir\u00e1 un igual n\u00famero de estudiantes y profesores de SFC en sus instalaciones durante una semana en 2022.<\/p>\n<p>El grupo completo estar\u00e1 realizando estudios y trabajos de investigaci\u00f3n en temas relacionados con salud p\u00fablica, nutrici\u00f3n y acondicionamiento f\u00edsico, con especial \u00e9nfasis en el adulto mayor durante la actual pandemia por COVID-19.<\/p>\n<p>Esta es la segunda ocasi\u00f3n en que UNIVA es acreedora a este recurso, por medio de las propuestas generadas por las \u00e1reas de Internacionalizaci\u00f3n e Investigaci\u00f3n de la instituci\u00f3n; la primera ocasi\u00f3n fue un programa realizado con la Metropolitan State University of Denver en 2016, en donde los estudiantes y profesores participantes realizaron investigaci\u00f3n y trabajo de campo en temas relacionados con Ingenier\u00eda Humanitaria, y a partir del cual se han desarrollado exitosamente otros trabajos de colaboraci\u00f3n entre ambas instituciones.<\/p>\n<p>Esta experiencia internacional, sin duda, es una oportunidad para nuestras comunidades universitarias que les permite desarrollar habilidades globales, les acerca a conocer otras perspectivas, adem\u00e1s de que contribuye con la formaci\u00f3n de ciudadanos del mundo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El pasado 29 de julio, como respuesta al trabajo realizado desde el pasado mes de febrero 2021 entre el equipo de la Jefatura de Internacionalizaci\u00f3n del Sistema UNIVA y profesores&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":3936,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[2],"tags":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-3935","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-noticias"},"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v26.6 -
